Then he finds himself on the Western Front, fights in the Belarusian direction of Moscow - Minsk. The soldiers of the Rifle Regiment of the Rifle Division took part in the liberation of the Smolensk and Vitebsk regions. His immediate plans were a symphony about the dramatic events of the war, but the platoon commander Lieutenant Farid Yarullin died in one of the battles in October.
The composer’s talent was manifested in a variety of genres. He created instrumental works for the piano, cello and violins, still performed, processed many Tatar and Bashkir folk tunes, wrote a number of songs to the verses of Tatar poets, including children's. His music is so intonationally rich and expressive that it touches the hearts of listeners even in concert performance, it still has an impact on the ballet work of other Tatar composers.
He wrote a lot of instrumental and vocal works that enriched the national musical palette, but, first of all, Farid Yarullin is known as the author of the Shurale ballet, which laid the foundation for the formation of Tatar choreographic art and, still remaining its peak, entered the gold fund of the domestic ballet classics. The first national ballet staged in the city of the Tatar State Theater of Opera and Ballet immediately received recognition and still decorates the repertoires of many theaters of our country and abroad.
No other work of Tatar national culture has received such broad recognition in the world and F. Yarullin remains the most famous Tatar composer. Yarullina, his bust is installed in the courtyard of the school. The name of F. Yarullin was immortalized at the Memorial Complex of the Rylenka of the Dubrovensky district of the Vitebsk region of the Republic of Belarus, where he fought and was buried.
