In addition to paintings on religious plots, it should be noted that he has performed from a year according to a series of images of prostitutes and a series of "judges".
These characters are interpreted by Ruo as the personification of evil and moral decomposition in modern society. In the formation of the author’s attitude to this social category, an important role was played by the artist’s friendship with the Catholic writer Leon Blois and with the religious philosopher Jacques Marrithen, as well as the appeal to Christianity. Ruo also used the image of a clown in his work, which, obviously, symbolized for him the fate of an artist or prophet, separated from his counterparts.
From the year, in addition to the paintings of the religious genre, judges, clowns, prostitutes, as the personification of evil, are included in the circle of constant topics and graphics of Ruo. At the same time, the Roo style was deeply individual, with a characteristic only bright and emotionally saturated color and rough black lines of the picture. Starting from - and Ruo's painting and graphics are of international interest. From the year, after the death of Vollarus, the long -term lawsuit of Ruo with the heirs of Vollarus begins.
