Or Bruce, as he was also called in the first war, we remained in Chechnya, then my father died. During the second - uncle took us to Turkey, from there we left for Kazakhstan, where I joined the fighting club and a year later became the world champion in Thai boxing. Then there was Thailand, where I spent three years, and then I was invited to play for Turkey - this is how my professional career began.

I spoke under the pseudonym Bahadir Sari and was a popular kickboxer in the country. During one interview, the journalist asked why I did not try myself in the cinema, and I thought. In my youth, I loved to watch a movie, but I knew nothing about the orders of work. Once my English tutor asked what directors I love to advise me films in the original. The teacher shamed me, but at the same time opened his eyes to the film industry.

I became interested in how the paintings were filmed, what is happening behind the scenes. And about fifteen years ago, I decided to at least visit the set. I tried myself in installation, then I was an assistant to the director. By acquaintance, I was invited to work in the film company, on the fourth and fifth project I was offered an agreement. With an old friend who had his own company, we even made a whole film, but he was unsuccessful: in the middle of the filming, the funds simply ended - the sponsor went bankrupt.

This did not bring popularity and fame to me, and friends in Turkey are still kidding on this score. Nevertheless, a familiar manager was ready to organize an invitation to the then popular series “The Magnificent Century”, but I refused. It seemed that this would be the right decision, an easy way, because I was a rather famous athlete, but the actor was just beginning.

I reviewed my life and started all again: he returned to Chechnya in the year. The main reason, probably, was still mom. There is no father, I am the eldest in the family, I had to help, to engage in the house. A strange feeling does not leave me all my life: wherever I go, I feel like a stranger everywhere. When I go to bed, I fall asleep with the thought that I always need somewhere.

And this feeling leaves me only at home. I know for sure that I do not want to assimilate somewhere and stay forever. The house was always for me only where Diamokhk Chech. Nevertheless, there were plans after the end of the sports career to return to the cinema, but they offered me a contract for the contract, everything was delayed. I even managed to temporarily quit sport, to engage in entrepreneurship in Moscow.

And then Ramzan Kadyrov called and invited Akhmat to the club. And this call gave the second wind of my sports career. I began to play for Akhmat, although I was no longer young for an athlete - 32 years. So the acting career has gone into the far plan. This pause lasted more than 10 years. During this time, I took four more titles of the world champion to the existing three.

Then he moved from kickboxing to boxing. I don’t know how much more in sports, but I’ll spend a couple of battles, and it's time to finish, I think. Still, for 38 years. And I have long been familiar with producer Mehmeta Bozdag. But I decided that 10 years of a break is too long to remind of myself. Then the brother organized a meeting for us, he suggested that I go through the casting, I tried - and here I am. My first project was also a historical film, and for him I trained a lot, was the experience of fighting in swords, but there was Roman technique and I played a Roman.

And here is the Ottoman Empire, they fought in their own way. Filming began unexpectedly quickly, not after two to three months, as planned, but after a couple of weeks. I had to understand the go. We have shooting six days a week from 7 a.m. to 7 pm. I play the Caucasian warrior of Turakhan. Although my role is mostly caste, there are days free from filming, and then I try to train.

In order to call yourself an actor now, one must be very self -confident, but I make attempts and plan to continue this career. No comedies, only action - I have no manager, but different offers periodically come. At the end of this series, I may consider them. Even if it is no longer a historical movie, but modern. Depends on the genre, of course. It is unlikely that I will participate in the set of romantic films or comedies, rather, action or mafia series.

So it is with Russian cinema: I will gain experience, and there, if they offer, I will not refuse. I, by the way, had experience with an American director. Andrzej Bartkovyak, who began his career as an operator and shot the film “Devil's Lawyer”, worked with us for six months. Few people will believe, but he already invited me to Los Angeles and said that there were makings and all the chances of taking place.

But I felt responsibility to my relatives, I could not quit everything and leave to build a dream career.I chose the direction in which it was already quite successful. And ultimately become a director, shoot both feature and documentaries in the Caucasus. To this end, I am here. Very famous in India! Many years have passed, I have changed a lot. But it happens when it comes to some battles, especially kickboxing, I hear the name Bahadir Sari.

We have restrained people. They can from afar "Hello-Poka" or shout: “We are watching you! Some cannot get used to it, others rejoice. Everyone has different reactions. And in Turkey there was a funny incident. Representatives of different areas, such as businessmen, come to the site.

One evening, I went into the tent, where the shooting was supposed to take place. All the main actors are sitting, real stars, and among them the guest, whom I easily determined by appearance, is Hindu. The producer represents me: “Here is our brother-cheese, plays Turkhan-Bey,” and he immediately replies: “I know him! He is very famous in India! Apparently, without knowing it, we become popular in the countries unexpected for us.

If we talk about Russia, then, probably, the greatest interest in the projects “Risen Ertugrul” and “Foundation: Osman” in the Caucasus. A subtle connection with the Ottoman Empire - I think that this is due to our general history of the spread of Islam. All Muslims are interested in the history of their religion, but it is no longer showed anywhere. And if they show, then template and more often in a negative way.

It turns out that we can only read about the spread of Islam in books, and people like to know everything through visualization. For example, where else would we learn that even the Chinese and Japanese Muslims were in the Ottoman Empire? There, Chechens flash in history, and many others. It was a powerful multinational empire, which for more than years ruled a significant part of Europe and Asia.

I did not discuss these issues with other representatives of the Caucasus, but in Chechnya many lovers of the same Ertugrul and Osman designated these moments: they are ready for each other and are ready to die for their person or for the sake of a common cause. I even met such fans who, in anticipation of the new season of Osman, reviewed all the Ertugul seasons several times.

Feel some kind of connection with them. Once Indian films were watched, then Brazilian soap operas, now is the turn of Turkey. But in this case, they are close to us in religion, and in family values, and traditions are similar. And, by and large, some people simply do not have enough drama in life, possibly even love. So they hold on to such entertaining content.
