Biography of Kobzon Joseph

The artist was born on September 11 in the working village of the Chain of the Yar Donetsk Region of Ukraine. His father David Kunovich worked in the district executive committee, and the mother of Ida Shoikht was a people's judge and the head of the political department of the state farm. When Joseph was two years old, the family moved to Lviv, where she lived before the start of the Great Patriotic War.

Then his father went to the front. All other family members were evacuated to Central Asia. The family returned to Ukraine after the end of the war, settling in Kramatorsk. Here Joseph went to school and began to engage in amateur performances. After his studies, he entered the Dnepropetrovsk Mountain College. The student Kobzon was seriously carried away by boxing and even won the republican championship.

However, after the injury, I decided to leave sports. In the year, the singer was drafted into the army. At first he served in Kazakhstan. Later he was transferred to Transcaucasia, where he was invited to the ensemble of songs and dances of the Transcaucasian Military District. Speaking as part of the collective, he seriously thought about an artistic career and immediately after demobilization entered the Vocal Department of the Music and Pedagogical Institute named after the Gnesins now-the Russian Academy of Music named after Gnesins.

In addition, he was one of the negotiators with terrorists during the capture of hostages in the metropolitan theater center at Dubrovka in October of the year. The work and activities of Joseph Kobzon were marked by numerous awards. In the year, he was first elected a deputy to the State Duma.

His activity in parliament was dictated primarily by concern for culture and increasing the standard of living of voters. Knowing the responsibility and authority of Kobzon, he was addressed on a variety of issues from all over the country. He willingly helped both ordinary people and colleagues in the big stage, for which he was called the godfather of domestic show business.

Evil languages, in order to explain the omnipotence of Kobzon, attributed to him a connection with the criminal world. The singer himself treated such accusations calmly. Being a patriot of the country, in March, Kobzon supported the accession of Crimea to Russia, and also justified Russia's actions in the Donbass, urging the Ukrainian authorities to stop punitive actions in the southeast of Ukraine.

For his position, the artist was in the sanctions list of the EU European Union. Joseph Kobzon was married three times. His first wife was the singer Veronika Kruglova, the second - actress Lyudmila Gurchenko. For the third time, the artist was married to Nelly Kobzon, with whom he lived for more than 40 years. The spouses have two children - son Andrei and daughter Natalya.

For 15 years, the singer fought on oncology. However, the disease won up. He died on August 30 in the year of his life. The people's artist was buried at the Vostryakovsky cemetery in Moscow.
