Biography of N Tesla

The quiz “People with reverence relate to representatives of science, but do not like prophets from their number. But sometimes among scientists there are those who managed to look into the future. Nicola Tesla did not prophesy, he spoke about the future as if he had lived in him himself. ” Boris Skupov Nikola Tesla Nikola Tesla is an inventor in the field of electrical engineering and radio engineering of Serbian origin, engineer, physicist.

One of the most famous and mysterious scientists of our time. The mind of Nikola Tesla was not constrained by a tight framework that is commonly called common sense. During his scientific and inventive activity, Nikola Tesla received more official patents. It is still difficult to say what helped the scientist make his greatest discoveries: mysticism or logic, giftedness or an extraordinary mind.

Not only inventions and scientific discoveries, but also the entire biography of the eccentric scientist is covered with legends. In part, this was facilitated by the “crazy genius” himself, for the sake of telling about his connection with the world mind, which, in fact, contributed to the discoveries of Nikola Tesla. The family of Nikola Tesla, by virtue of family traditions, had to continue his father’s work - to become a priest.

However, from childhood, Nikola was interested in completely different - he wanted to study engineering. Gymnasiums and schools where Tesla studied, contributed to the fascination with physics, and not religious knowledge. As a result, the family supported the aspirations of the gifted young man. Nicola Tesla studied the exact sciences at the Higher Real School in the city of Karlovats and at the Higher Technical School in Graz currently - Graz Technical University, where he studied electrical engineering.

He worked in Budapest in the engineering department of the central telegraph as a designer and drawing, where he had access to the study of progressive inventions, the ability to experiment and embody his own ideas. The main task of this period was the invention of the electric motor on alternating current. The innovation of the works of Tesla was that, thanks to them, it was possible to transfer energy over long distances, nourishing lighting devices, factory machines and household devices.

In Paris, in his free from work in the company, Edison worked on the creation of an asynchronous electric motor. In New York, in Edison Machine Works, he worked as an engineer for repairing electric motors and direct current generators. Tesla hoped to devote himself to his beloved work - to create new machines, but the creative ideas of the inventor annoyed Edison. Nicola Tesla in the laboratory has collaborated with the American George Westingauz since the year.

The industrialist bought almost all patents from the inventor and invited his own company to work in the laboratory. Tesla refused, realizing that this would limit his freedom. In years, the most fruitful years, the scientist investigated high -frequency magnetic fields. Here are some of them: alternating current the difference in views on the production and spread of electricity marked the beginning of the confrontation of Tesla and Edison.

Edison promoted the idea of direct current, which was road for transmission over serious distances. Tesla offered a cheaper alternative. Then the supporters of Edison managed to persuade public opinion in their favor, convincing the danger of using Tesla's ideas. But it was precisely the studies of Tesla in the field of electricity that made the uninterrupted power supply of modern houses possible.

Tesla's coil, this invention became the result of research conducted in Tesla in the field of electricity. It gave an understanding of the generation and spread of electric current, the possibility of its use. Tesla coil is a combination of two coils between which an electric discharge is generated. This invention was a new stage in the works of Tesla for the wireless transmission of electricity.

The electric engine was originally an electric engine developed by Tesla for cars. The popularization of this invention could reduce oil dependence. But a number of objective factors prevented the embodiment of the plan. Currently, we can observe the result of the invention of Tesla in electric vehicles, power tools, pumps, household and industrial electronics and other units operating using an electric motor.

The transformer substation of the Tesla innovative project to create a hydroelectric power station was truly revolutionary for its time. With the help of a built station, several cities of the United States were provided with electricity. This project laid the foundation for the creation of modern power plants. Neon light of Nicholas Tesla can rightfully be called the creator of neon advertising.

He improved the technology of obtaining fluorescent and neon light, conducting a number of experiments with electric particles and a gas environment. He was the first to use neon lighting for advertising, making a neon sign at one of the exhibitions. Nicholas Tesla asynchronous engine conducted work on creating an asynchronous engine in parallel with Galileo Ferrari.Ferrari was ahead of Tesla for just a couple of months, but the results of their work were almost identical.

In the operation of the engine, alternating current was used, such a mechanism was durable and relatively cheap. Currently, asynchronous engine is used in household appliances and power tools. Raying weapons in the last years of his life Nikola Tesla worked on the creation of radiation weapons. The idea of free energy, which he carried through his whole life, was based.

Tesla believed that energy can be assembled and concentrated in certain objects in the form of a radial beam. All Tesla developments in this area were classified. The great inventor died at the age of 86 years a year. Most of the diaries, records and drawings mysteriously disappeared. Perhaps Tesla himself destroyed his developments, considering them too dangerous for humanity.

Nowadays, we can come into contact with the memorable places of the genius of electricity, traveling around Europe. One of the iconic museums works in the homeland of Nikola Tesla in the village of Smilyan, located in the historical region of Lika in Croatia, about a km from Zagreb. You can get from Zagreb to Smilyan by bus or car. And, of course, if you relax in the region, the average Dalmatia of the city of Split, Shibenik, Zadar, then by car you can travel along good roads to the capital of Croatia.

You have to drive through the city of the State Public, where the Tesla family lived for some time, and Nicola studied in a real gymnasium. From the State -Russian -wister to Smilyan about 10 km, and you will see the house where the scientist was born and spent the childhood. The museum is not very large in size and in the number of exhibits. But the one who is interested in the ideas of Tesla, his discoveries, will be interested here.

After all, it was in this little village that Nikola first found out what electricity was during a thunderstorm, he stroked the cat and drew attention to how its wool sparkles. According to Tesla himself, what electricity is, he could not comprehend until the end of his life. At the same time, there was no person in the world who had more revealed the secrets of this physical phenomenon.

The memorial center, which opened in the year in honor of the celebration of the flight from the birth of Nikola Tesla, is very informative, completely multimedia. There is information in Croatian and English. Unfortunately, there are few historical exhibits, but visitors will be interested in a review of historical events of that time, information about the inventions of the scientist, as well as interesting quotes by Nikola Tesla.

The museum presents the prototypes of some inventions that can be seen in action. In the conclusion of viewing the exposition, the work of Tesla's coil and a film about the inventor are shown. A turbine of Tesla is installed in a small river flowing near Doma, and a mock -up of a robotic ship swims between the two platforms, as an indicator of wireless control of radio waves. In a separate building there is the operating model of Tesla transformer.

This is an atmospheric memorable city that has retained its culture and identity for many centuries. One of the oldest cities in Europe is an invariable center of attraction for tourists. The city has a large number of holidays and international festivals, especially in the spring and summer months. And already at the Belgrade aeropot, you will be met by a monument to Tesla.

Founded on December 5, by decision of the Government of the Republic of Yugoslavia. It is placed in a two -story mansion, built in the year according to the project of the Serbian architect Dzhinich Brasovan. The Tesla Museum in Belgrade Urn with the ashes of Tesla in the Museum of Bedrad on the ground floor of the museum posted the exposition of the current models of devices and devices invented by Nicholas Tesla, as well as a collection of materials and documents telling about the life and activity of the inventor.

On the second floor, the manuscripts of Nikola Tesla, his notebooks, letters, books from a personal library and other materials designed to study his creative heritage are stored. In total, the collection includes more original documents, more books and magazines, more technical inventions and several thousand photographs, schemes and drawings belonging to Nicolas Tesla, as well as his personal items.

To date, this is the only museum in the world, storing the original documents and personal belongings of Nikola Tesla. Therefore, the museum provides support and assistance to the researchers of Tesla’s work, and also provides access to information for researchers of the history of science, inventions and patent law. Since interest in electricity, as a physical phenomenon, and everything that is connected with it is very high, in different countries the electrical museums of Nikola Tesla Tesla show, which show their visitors to represent the inventions of an outstanding scientist.

Such a museum is in the city of Sochi in the Olympic Park. This is an exciting project that combined the passion of its creators to physics and the ability to submit any, even the most entertaining information with great inspiration. Performances are held in the format of a half -hour interactive show.As part of the program, you can watch a short documentary about the life and work of Tesla, become a member of spectacular physical experiments, for example, to see how a 5-ruble coin decreases by 2 times and touch the unusual exhibits of the museum with hands.

The presenters are interesting and accessible to young visitors to the laws of physics, and adults with humor recall school years. The show demonstrates a wireless transmission of energy, plasma gun, plasma tesla-columns with inert gas. Here you can hear Tesla Royal performs melodies using lightning categories. And, of course, get acquainted with Tesla's coils: depending on their height, coils can produce zippers with a length of 1.5 to 7 meters.

A bright total program is the show “Megavolt - Lightning Lord”, where a professional stuntman in a protective suit “plays” with real lightning. And the most daring can experience themselves in the "cell of fear" the cell is made of a metal mesh, which is bombarded by the discharges of electricity. Physicists say that inside such a closed circuit a person is in full safety and does not risk getting an electric shock.

However, not all visitors to the interactive are decided to check this statement on themselves. The genius of Nikola Tesla is a phenomenon in the world of science and discoveries. Tesla is the pride of his compatriots.
