The ordinary lynx is at risk of disappearance and has the status of “close to danger” in Poland and Ukraine. The small number of these animals is mainly related to human activity - logging, the development of communication infrastructure, the expansion of cities, which quickly leads to fragmentation and complete elimination of the natural environment of the lynx.
