Biography of Bukhara
Several pre -revolutionary mansions built in the “Russian style” have been preserved on Bahauddin Nakshbandi Street. To the south of the old city is an extensive territory, where in Soviet times the main square of the New Bukhara was formed. The project affects the buffer zone, which raises questions from experts in the field of cultural heritage, but the authorities declare the approval of the project with UNESCO and compliance with all the necessary norms. Construction work can be activated in the spring and summer of the year in order to be able to conduct the first international Biennale of modern art in Bukhara in September-Bukhara Biennial.
