She achieved the fact that the collective farmers responsibly approach the fate of the crop, carried out all agricultural measures efficiently and timely, starting from the preparation of the soil for sowing and ending with cleaning of the root crops. In the first year, sweet root crops were collected by centners from each hectare. Next year, a generous crop was marked: more centners of beets were assembled from Hectar.
In the third year, the increase amounted to centners. So Olga Konstantinovna grew up in a real master of field breeding, confidently became one of the advanced workers of the district. For successes in the development of agriculture and the achievement of high indicators for the production and harvesting of agricultural products, for the introduction of science and advanced methods in agricultural production, it was awarded in the year the Order of Honor.
In the year she joined the CPSU. Soon she went to work in flax breeding, which in the X received purposeful development in the agriculture of Belarus. Then, on the Lomonosov collective farm, several specialized links were created in order to increase the yield and marketability of linen-debut, valuable technical culture. The link, under the leadership of O. Matyushko, has now passed to grow two crops - sugar beets and flax.
The link and its subordinates began to persistently study the features of growing a new culture, closely collaborated with the agronomical service of the economy, actively overtaken the advanced experience of the noble flaxers of the republic, introduced everything new, progressive in their site. In a short time, they perfectly captured the skill of growing the “Northern Schelok” - and this is in the context of the complete lack of mechanization, when all the work, even the most time -consuming ones, were performed manually.

The site that Olga Konstantinovna and her friends was cultivated was the best in the household, certainly brought rich crops - not lower than seven centers of the flax fiber annually. So, in the year they raised a lot of fibers on 18 hectares and received 10 centners of fibers and over 11 centners of seeds per hectare. Moreover, such a record harvest was obtained on an unproductive smell pasture.
Each of the 10 hectares of the beet field gave high centners of root crops.
The link brought the collective farm 71 rubles of income in pre -reform prices.Despite the adverse weather conditions of the next year, it managed to collect the centers of sugar beets from the hectare on an area of 16 hectares, achieve high flax yields - 8 centners of fibers and 8.8 centers of seeds from a hectare on an area of 18.5 hectares. Remaining in the ranks of the advanced flaxers of the republic and confirming the high rank of drummer of communist labor, she worked selflessly in subsequent years.
The accumulated experience and deep agricultural knowledge allowed its link to significantly increase the yield of the Northern Schelok and reach a stably high level of 10 centners of fiber and 11 centners of seeds. On the basis of this small team, the school of advanced experience successfully operated, where they came to study from the entire Brest region. The link was generously shared by the skill of flax breeding.
