Biography of Gamzatov Tsadasa
He studied at the Araninsky secondary school and at the Avar pedagogical school, after which he worked as a teacher, assistant director of the Avar State Theater, the head of the department and his own correspondent of the Avar newspaper Bolshevik Mountains, the editor of the Avar programs of the Dagestan radio committee. Rasul Gamzatov began to write poetry when he was nine years old.
His first verses began to be printed in the Republican Avar newspaper Bolshevik Mountains, and the first book of poetry in Avar language was published in the year. Since then, in the Avar and Russian languages, in many languages of Dagestan, the Caucasus and the whole world, dozens of poetic, prosaic and journalistic books have published, such as “My Heart in the mountains”, “High stars”, “Protect friends”, “Cranes”, “At the hearth”, “Letters”, “Last price”, “Tales”, “Wheel of life”, “About the rapid days of the Caucasus” “Half day heat”, “My Dagestan”, “Two Shali”, “Judge me according to the Code of Love”, “Hello” and many others who have gained wide popularity among lovers of his poetry.
In gg. Rasul Gamzatov studied at the Moscow Literary Institute named after M., after he graduated from Rasul Gamzatov, was elected chairman of the board of the Writers of Dagestan, where he worked until his death in November. Many verses of Rasul Gamzatov became songs. They attracted the attention of many composers of Dagestan, the Caucasus, Russia and other states. The poetic evenings of Rasul Gamzatov successfully took place in different years in Makhachkala and Moscow theaters and concert halls, as well as in the cultural centers of Sofia, Warsaw, Budapest and in many other halls. According to the works of the poet at the Leningrad Opera and Ballet Theater, Goryanka’s ballet was set, the play “My Dagestan” was held at the St. Petersburg Bolshoi Comedy Theater, on the stage of the Avar Musical Drama Theater named after The Tsadasi performed the performances “My Heart in the mountains”, “Take care of mothers”, “Goryanka”, etc.
Books of famous literary critics were written and published about the life and work of the people's poet: K. Sultanov, V. Ognev, V. Dementyev and others.
