Ershov Biography of presentation
Read The Publication A. Ershov - The founder of school computer science, the work was created by the participants of the Nanobit competitive team Academician Andrei Petrovich Ershov - - one of the initiators of theoretical and systemic programming in the USSR, the creator of the Siberian School of Informatics and the informal leader of the entire domestic programming community.
His significant contribution to the formation of computer science as a new branch of science and the new phenomenon of public life is widely recognized in our country and abroad. In the city of Ershov, having graduated from school with honors, he entered the Physics Department of Moscow State University. After the first year, he was invited to choose any other faculty, since the fact of his biography by a child, along with his parents, was in a territory occupied by the Nazis did not allow physics, a science of increased secrecy.
Ershov chose computational mathematics and, under the influence of A. Lyapunov, was carried away by programming. At the end of the university, A. Ershov entered the Institute of accurate mechanics and computing equipment - an organization in which one of the first Soviet teams of programmers took shape. Moscow State University Lyapunov Aleksey Andreevich in Sobolev A. Ershov assumes the obligation of the organizer of the programming department of this institute.
Andrei Petrovich began teaching activities with G. around him an informal team of researchers of a number of academic institutions, primarily, a computing center with the USSR Academy of Sciences and the University of Novosibirsk, pedagogical and school teachers, conducting a wide program of experiments, research and development in the direction of school computer science.
In years, Ershov, along with colleagues, began experiments on teaching programming in high school, which led to the creation of the first detailed concept of school informatics in the country and enriched us the thesis "Programming - the second literacy". After some time, this concept formed the basis of the state program on the introduction of a course of computer science and computer technology in secondary schools in the country.
Ershov and V. Monakhov led a team of authors who created the first textbooks "Fundamentals of Informatics and Computing Technology", which were then translated into languages of all republics of the USSR. Ershov makes a report called "Programming - the second literacy." The name of the report quickly becomes a slogan. In Novosibirsk, experiments begin to teach programming, and then computer science to schoolchildren.
The agate computer is being developed, the training system "Schoolgirl" and the language of "Rapier". In the middle of the x, Ershov proposed creating an open, developed language in which you can describe the future program, the design that form it, and objects of the subject area of the task. This language received the name "Lexicon".
