To make it more convenient to live, we carefully strive to drown deeper the reproaches of conscience, the memories of our sins and the emerging motives for improvement.

We force the mechanism of our memory, forcing it to work by replacing motivation for crowding out, oblivion, to suppression. That is, at the personal level and at the level of human society there is an ongoing war with memory. Instead of tormenting, remembering, extracting lessons, going back to the meaning of existence, we come up with a bunch of deeds with all our resourcefulness, play in other people's political games, cover our past with powerful layers of varnish, cutting it off from the present and future.

I peer with horror in the photographs of "veterans." For so long in Russia, people, fallen by war, do not live. Who are these, vigorous? And around the photos, delirium texts overwhelming newspapers and TV screens! This smoke curtain over the terrible collective memory of the people, full of sin, relocation, betrayal of relatives and friends, murders in words and in practice, the rejection of good and serving evil.

After all, they cannot but come to the “party apparatchiks” and the generals of punitive departments of the shadows of the people who have ruined people peacefully surviving their century. Just as it cannot but face the eyes of the current functionaries, starting with the President of Russia, the face of the victims of Nord-Osta and Beslan burned children. How do they live, bitches?!

Although, after all, to be honest, the whole world history, in essence, is a diligent silence of the true causes and consequences, taking out uncomfortable facts and worthy people. The triumph of oblivion. I'm afraid that even the gospel is not a revelation, but a crowding out, diligent non -removal. And even more so, I am ready to fight about the congestion that any memoirs written seemed to tell the truth, in fact, a heart -rending desire to hide.
