Biography Anna Herman
The writer, biographer of singer Anna German Ivan Ilyichev is the founder and president of the international club of fans of Anna German, he is a collector, singer and musical producer, the author of several hundred publications about the stars of the Soviet and Russian pop. Ivan Ilyichev was born three months after the death of Anna German - in the year.
For the first time he listened to her record at six and became interested in her work. He devoted his life to the collection of materials related to her life and creativity, the study of her biography, collecting the singer’s records. Ivan Ilyichev met Anna Herman's family, in the year he lived in their house in Warsaw for a year and a half. He published biographical books: “We are a long echo”, “Anna German.
Gori, Gori, my star white angel of the song ”in his repertoire the songs of Soviet composers Evgeny Martynov and Vladimir Miguli. It is one of the founders of the musical project “Names for all times”, often performs at the stage of the stage, the Central House of Scientists, the Central House of Writers and other halls. What was it connected with, because, as you know, she was an ethnic German?
She grew up in the USSR in an atmosphere of multilingualism: in childhood, they spoke around Anna in Russian, and in German, and in the Uzbek, and in the Kyrgyz, and in Hebrew. In connection with the move of Anna's family to Poland in M, she became a citizen of Poland, learned the Polish language. In Russia, she loved to sing in Russian, as she mastered them perfectly, although her relatives were always German.
There is a lot of information about the mennonites, about how they appeared in Russia. This is described in sufficient detail by Anna's mother - Irma. The ancestors of Herman appeared in Russia in the year, they stood at the origins of the creation of the colonies in the Kuban near Nevinnomyssk, where Anna German Martens was born in the year. During the years of dispossession, many families of the Mennonites were forced to wander, look for a refuge.
But the connection between them was not lost. In the year, escaping from the persecution of Soviet power, Anna Herman’s mother, along with the little Anechka, was in the distant Kyrgyz Mennonite village of Orlovka. To this day there are people who grew up with Anna Herman. Did she want to become an opera diva? She only once recorded a record with Arias from the medieval court opera Domenico Scarlatt “Testida on the island of Skiros”.
This was her joint work with the professor of the Warsaw Conservatory Tadeusz Okhlesky. What is known about her family? Irma and Oygen were not in the official marriage, so at birth Anna German was recorded as Anna Martens according to the maiden name of her mother. With this surname, she lived in the USSR. This fact became saving for her - no one connected the girl with the executed father.
Now it’s scary to think that in those years could happen to Anna, her mother and grandmother, if not for the strong character and trick of her mother, who constantly masked the traces of their stay in the USSR: in the first ten years of her life, Anna Herman managed to live in Urgench, in Tashkent, in Novosibirsk, in Stalinsk, in Orlovka Kyrgyzstan, in Jambul. Anna Herman devoted the famous romance “Gori, Gori, my star” to the memory of her shot father.
The audience thought that she was singing about herself, about her star, and Anna actually at that moment thought about her father, that he became for her a “star of love, a magical star” she sang this romance on earth, where the blood of her own father spilled. It is known that the Pole was an officer of the Polish army and died in the battle of Lenin in October GO. Do you still know something about him?
Irma and German met in the year, in the midst of the war, in Kyrgyzstan, in the village of Orlovka. They both worked in high school. The time was hungry, cold. Herman helped Irme to experience both wartime, and the attitude towards the Germans during the war of Irma was mobilized in the labor army for the construction of the railway in Uzbekistan, she managed to escape from there.
So far, it was possible to find very little information about Herman Gerner. Rumors that he allegedly joined the ranks of the Kostyushko division in the year and died near Lenin, have not yet been checked. Knowing the ability of Irma to “notice traces”, the story of Herman could turn around in a completely different way. As a biographer, I have yet to do a lot of research to find out the truth.
How did this affect her work? Anna was an excellent student, and knowledge of the German language allowed her to check the notebooks. She chose the profession of a geologist almost by accident: at the insistence of her mother, she left the idea to enter the Academy of Fine Arts on the artist and chose a “serious” profession. What happened then? Then she still did not have the status of a “star”, so Anna often recalled her first tour of Poland with humor: she had to ride in unheated wagons, to sing-in some rural clubs, where sometimes there wasn’t even a normal piano, and once she even happened to perform in a flour mill, inside which there was a small hall, where Anna was listened to by Polish farmers.
In those years, her acquaintance with the composer Katazhina Gertner, who wrote a lot of songs for Anna, took place, including the song “Dancing Eurydics”.Thanks to the "Eurydics" the popularity of Anna in Poland and beyond its borders grew by day, but by the clock. This is really a magical song! It was not important for her what nationality the viewer is in the hall, she simply gave her heart to the audience whole, without a trace!
How did she manage to return to the stage? Anna could die, could remain disabled for life, but she overcame herself, overcoming the disease and managed to return to the stage. Sometimes she performed, overcoming pain, but the audience did not even know about it. In the performance of Anna Herman, we hear tragedy only because we know about her tragic fate. But Anna did not sing autobiographical songs.
I have repeatedly checked the reaction of people on the recording of Anna Herman, people who do not know who this singer is. And no one created a feeling of tragedy. I hear in the performance of Anna Herman a non -hidden depth, wisdom, a powerful internal message - all this makes the listener think, turn inside himself. At first it may seem sad, but this is only the response of our soul.
Anna was brought up in a religious family, not a single thing in life began without prayer. And at the end of her life, her soul asked for spiritual poetry - she found words for her new songs in the Bible. The words of Psalm David “The Lord is my shepherd” are carved on her tombstones. What archival materials did you manage to publish for the first time? This find was discovered in Kyrgyzstan, in the village of Orlovka, where I specifically traveled for research purpose.
Alas, time takes and takes people with him, and the documents, and the memories of the songs of Anna German Rostovites were very fond of. Emma Agopova personally engaged in concerts: met Anna, showed her the city, accompanied her to concerts and to the hotel. Anna asked Emma to take her to the city market, where she bought a jar of honey. When asked why she had honey, she said that she recognizes only natural products: honey helps her to fight a cold, which she often picked up during touring trips.
Anna Herman bought two rings in Rostov - one for herself, another as a gift to her mother. After some time, in January of the year, Emma Agopova unexpectedly received a letter from Anna Herman, very surprising her, since she did not give Anna her address. Herman simply wrote on the envelope: “USSR. Rostov-on-Don, Philharmonic Directorate, Emma Vaganovna Agopova. " And the letter found the addressee!
It was preserved, it was very warm and touching: “Dear Emma! With a delay - but the best wishes for the entire 76 years !! Health to you, dear Emma, calmness and joy at work and at home! We have a son - a big, strong and terrible glutton. I would eat and eat all God's day! Now I have the biggest problem - not tonality, not microphones, not notes, not a dress only its appetite!
I still can’t believe that this is really my son, our boy - today, tomorrow, forever! Emma, so far, of course, I am sitting at home - today he is two months old. I am going to the USSR next year. This year - even from the house you can’t leave, since I do not have anyone who would help to at least take or buy bread. The husband is also falling down, and find someone in Warsaw a housekeeper, and even to a small child, is still impossible, but nothing, if only he was a healthy boy, right?
So far, Emma. I see you everything in your elegant dresses and with a charming smile. See you, be healthy and happy! Your Anya and Zbyshki-Ivar. I took honey, and everyone really liked it - mother and husband "Warsaw, January 15
